Circling 2023
Sculpture for the Groupshow “Point of view(s) – Blick und Richtung” Schloss Biesdorf Berlin (2023)
By picking up striking features of the space, the sculpture Circling is intended to merge with it, but at the same time stand out like a disruptive impulse contained within it. When circling the sculpture and walking in space, different views and the im- pression of a deformation of both arise when viewed. The shape of the sculpture translates this two-dimensional movement of circling around the sculpture into three-dimensionality, like two interlocking circles in space.
